CovKartSport will visit Sutton 4 times in 2018 for the Junior Championship (with two of those rounds possibly running in the reverse (anti-clockwise) direction) and for 1 round of the National Championship in 2018.
'About' Sutton Circuit
The unique layout of Sutton's twists and turns underwent several evolutions during the planning stage. Using influences such as the never ending curve at junction 2 of the M69, the track evolved into a form that would make the most use of the small land space it had to operate within.
What emerged was a challenging, technical circuit which would put experienced drivers to the test and still provide thrills for the unacquainted. With the intimidating turn one requiring a bold approach and the final corner demanding you hang on to your kart, Sutton has built quite a fan base with a reputation of a small track that feels way bigger than it actually is.
As our 'home' circuit for 2018, Red Lodge will host our Open Round in 2018, where anyone can join us and compete for the coveted Open Championship Trophy. This round is also 1 of 3 visits for the National Championship and 4 visits for the Junior Championship, and the Juniors can race in the GX 270 Karts...!
Red Lodge Karting Ltd, established since 1994, is the first purpose-built track in East Anglia where you can drive at night, under floodlights. Encourage your family & friends to come along and watch and tell them to bring a camera for those podium photos!

Rye House kicks off the 2018 CovKartSport National Championship, and also hosts R4 of the National Championship. A technical track, it always delivers great racing, and results here, early in the season, could prove decisive in the overall Championship tables at the end of the season...!

It was the brainchild of David Kirk. One day he was asked if he could build 10 Go Karts for another Kart Circuit.
As David by trade had spent most of his life running his garage businesses and building and racing rally cars, he thought this would be a challenge he could rise to.
After finishing the ten karts, he decided to make some more and find a place for his go kart circuit. After looking around, he found a disused WW2 airstrip and thought this would be the ideal location to start.
Since then his son Tav has joined the business. Tav has spent many years go kart racing and taking many titles including British championships and racing on behalf of England.
Glan-Y-Gors has been a fixture on the CovKartSport calendar for many years. A circuit that is well-known in the Karting community, hosting many MSA events each year, it is set in a fantastic location, and always provides brilliant racing.
